1967 Schwinn Stingray Original Survivor Muscle Bike N RThis is a no reserve auction for a 1967 schwinn stingray. I purchased it in a package deal and must sell it to keep the other bike. Seiral no. sI fcxxxxx june of 1967. Sky blue paint/decals/chainguard screening are original adn nice for their age, nics and scratches are present and expected for a 40+ year old bike. Chrome is nice with some peppering, could easily be brought back with steel wool. Front wheel is a scwhinn s-7 rim with schwinn script front hub and schwinn westwind tire. Back hweel is a 28 hole s-2 rim with bendix single speed hub and schwinn stingray slik tire. Tires are wheather checked ubt still very rideable. Seat is original with some staining and very small tear (see pics) with reflector tab and gulco reflector. I believe everything is original on this bike including tires, i do not know tire codes but they both have 7's no them.
All in all a nice original survivor to add to a collection or ride as is. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions. It can cost anywhere from $50-$100 to the lower 48 states only. This seems high but that includes insurance through ups for the purchase price. I pack very well and always include insurance on bikes, bkie will not just be thrown in a thin cardboard box and sent out.
