This fork was popualr on all deluxe murray mercury and western flyer bicycles. Folks, thees forks will fit either the boy's or girls 26 frames. As proof of what i'm telling you, i have pictured this fork (the one your bidding) mounted to a boys 26 murray bicycle frame (not included) for your inspection, and ti fits perfectly. Yes i used a higgins jet flow frame but its the same murray frame used on the mercury too. The only difference between the girl and boys mercury springer forks, is the color of the paint. This particular fork was removed from a 1950's mercury igrls 26 balloon bike. Naturally this fork will also fit many other ballooners made by murray and perhaps other makers, etc. The apint on this fork is original and unique to the 1950's girl mercury bicycle. This paint is strong having normal wera and scratches from use. This fokr is very straight and is not at all bent or damaged. The chrome is pretty muhc worn off in places with some surface rust, some of which will clean up.Thsi is all pictured for your inspection. This fork is complete and original. None of the hardware or headset is damaged, nor was any of it ever rust frozen. You are getting the complete head set along with bearing cups and bearings.
